Deeter Electronics Signs Distribution Deal with AB Electronics Ltd
Industrial sensor specialist Deeter Electronics Ltd, part of the Deeter Group of companies, has been appointed as an official distributor for AB Electronic Ltd. Proxistor® Division, part of the TT Group, the Essex based manufacturer of non-contact capacitive, inductive and optical proximity sensors.
Peter Whiteaker, Deeter Groups' Managing Director said "We are very pleased to have this new line of products to help us solve our customers sensing problems. Especially so because Proxistor® is such a well regarded name offering very high quality products. Shortly Proxistor® will be augmenting the range of capacitive sensors with units that are more waterproof and more immune to the effects of electromagnetic interference. These units are rated IP67 waterproof to 1 meter and EMC tested to 10 v/m which is the heavy industrial specification."
This agreement expands Deeters' range of industrial sensors such that it can now offer solutions for a vast range of liquids, solids, conductive and non-conductive materials and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Non-contact proximity sensors are used in a wide range of industrial, medical and commercial applications where the presence or absence of a material or object is important. Large users of these devices include machines for handling plastics raw material, bottling and canning machines, pharmaceutical and food handling and processing machines where non-contact sensing, accuracy and hygiene are important. Proxistor® capacitive sensors are built for tough industrial applications and are able to sense almost any material. They are available in the industry standard range of formats M18, 20 mm, M30 and 34 mm threaded and smooth bodied in both cable and connector types.
